ETÉREO offers immersive iboga retreats and ceremonial psychedelic experiences centered around our three primary medicines: iboga, huachuma, and 5-MeO-DMT. These plant medicine and sacred molecule retreats are designed for those seeking depth, clarity, and meaningful transformation through carefully held ceremonial work, nature immersion, and intentional retreat environments.

Our work is devoted to this trinity of medicines. Each ETÉREO retreat is internally curated and led by our core team, with containers designed to support the full arc of the experience. This includes comprehensive preparation, ceremonial facilitation, and long-form integration. Retreats are structured to support the body, mind, and spirit through trauma-informed facilitation, medical oversight, and experienced therapeutic support. Guests are guided with personalized one-on-one care, group processing, somatic practices, meditation, therapeutic modalities, sound, and intentional nourishment. This is work that asks for presence and responsibility, honoring both the lineage, the medicine and the long arc of integration that continues well beyond the retreat.

ETÉREO is also the vision in motion of a future retreat center and ceremonial sanctuary currently in development in Baja California Sur. This project is being built slowly and intentionally, with the aim of creating a retreat environment unlike anything else, one that weaves architecture, nature, ceremony, and care into a cohesive ecosystem for transformation. As the land unfolds, ETÉREO will expand to include immersive retreats, intimate gatherings, residencies, and collaborative offerings, all rooted in depth, integrity, and long-term stewardship.

ETÉREO works exclusively with three sacred medicines: iboga, huachuma, and 5-MeO-DMT. Each medicine carries its own intelligence, rhythm, and pathway of transformation. Our ceremonial containers are designed to honor the distinct nature of each while providing continuity of care, preparation, and integration across all retreats.

  • Iboga is a powerful initiatory medicine known for its capacity to bring clarity, deep introspection, and profound insight into the roots of behavioral patterns, trauma, and addiction. Often described as a teacher medicine, iboga works slowly and deliberately, guiding participants through an extended inner process that can illuminate both personal history and future direction.

    ETÉREO’s iboga retreats are held within carefully structured ceremonial containers that include extensive preparation, medical screening, and integration support. This work is physically, emotionally, and psychologically demanding, and is approached with great care, responsibility, and reverence. Iboga retreats are best suited for those seeking deep self-inquiry, resolution of long-standing patterns, and a willingness to meet the medicine with presence and commitment.

  • Huachuma, also known as San Pedro, is a heart-opening, earth-based medicine traditionally used in ceremonial contexts to foster connection, emotional release, and a sense of belonging within the natural world. Its effects are often described as expansive and relational, inviting participants into communion with themselves, others, and the land.

    At ETÉREO, huachuma ceremonies are held outdoors in an arroyo vortex and emphasize nature immersion, ritual, and embodied presence.

    These retreats support emotional healing, clarity of intention, and reconnection to purpose. Huachuma work can be both gentle and profound, offering insight through beauty, sensation, and relationship rather than confrontation.

  • 5-MeO-DMT is a potent sacred molecule known for its capacity to dissolve boundaries of identity and offer direct experiences of unity, stillness, and non-dual awareness. This medicine works quickly and intensely, often bypassing narrative and imagery to bring participants into direct encounter with consciousness itself.

    ETÉREO holds 5-MeO-DMT ceremonies within highly intentional, well-supported containers that prioritize safety, preparation, and integration. This work is not about seeking peak experiences, but about surrender, grounding, and integration into daily life. 5-MeO-DMT retreats are suited for those called toward deep spiritual inquiry and who are prepared to integrate subtle but significant shifts in perception and being.

    Pending the build of our retreat center, ETÉREO hosts transformational plant medicine retreats at two locations in the Todos Santos area. Our iboga retreats take place at Proyecto Palmita, a luxury venue designed for deep ceremonial work. Our huachuma and 5 MeO DMT retreats are held at ETÉREO AIRE LIBRE, our desert basecamp where guests experience nature, community, and simplicity with intention.

    We offer 1 - 8 day retreats that bring together community, healing and therapeutic arts to support your transformation. Each retreat includes expert facilitation, trauma informed care, preparation and integration guidance, and a safe environment for meaningful change.

    AIRE LIBRE

    Set on 24 acres of quiet desert land, ETÉREO AIRE LIBRE offers rustic yet refined camping for transformational retreat experiences in the Todos Santos area. This open air venue hosts our huachuma and 5 MeO DMT retreats and is also available for external facilitators seeking a natural, secluded setting for their own offerings.

    We offer 1 to 4 day containers that bring together ceremony, healing arts and intentional facilitation to support meaningful transformation. Each retreat includes experienced guidance, trauma informed care, preparation and integration support, and a natural environment designed for deep work.

ETÉREO’s vision is rooted in the raw beauty and untamed spirit of Elías Calles, Baja California Sur where the desert meets the Sierra de la Laguna in a breathtaking expanse of open land. This is the home of our greater project and ETÉREO | AIRE LIBRE Basecamp, an off-grid sanctuary designed for immersive nature experiences, intimate gatherings, and deep transformation.

While we develop our retreat center in this pristine location, we also host luxury retreats in the greater Todos Santos area, offering guests the opportunity to experience the magic of this region at hand-selected venues.
