ETÉREO Baja Launches Stone West

ETÉREO Baja & Stone West blend luxury, safety, and genuine cultural reciprocity in Baja California

TODOS SANTOS, MEXICO — ETÉREO | Center for Truth (ETÉREO Baja), a first-of-its-kind luxury retreat bridging ancestral plant medicine traditions with modern medical rigor, is pleased to announce the launch of its pending 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Stone West, to be formally unveiled at an invitation-only event, The Unveiling, on November 2, 2025 in Baja California Sur, Mexico.

Created by co-founders Paije West and Fletcher Burdick, ETÉREO Baja redefines psychedelic hospitality through a holistic model that prioritizes transformation, safety, integration, and cultural reciprocity. Stone West will advance these same values through scholarships, reforestation, and Indigenous reciprocity projects in Gabon, Peru, and Baja California Sur.

"ETÉREO Baja is a bridge between worlds," says Paije West, co-founder and integration specialist. "We're creating a space where ceremony and Western medicine coexist to bring about transformation within frameworks of safety, respect, and deep cultural partnership."

In an industry moving from experimentation to professionalization, ETÉREO Baja represents that second wave of psychedelic healing and hospitality. Each retreat integrates medical oversight, long-term integration support, and authentic ceremonial practice led in collaboration with lineage partners such as Bwiti Roots in Gabon.

Guests participate in multi-day programs that include preparation, ceremony, and months of integration coaching in an approach designed to ensure lasting transformation. Facilities at ETÉREO Baja include private villas near Todos Santos and Cabo, immersive desert glamping at a 24-acre off-grid basecamp, and chef-curated menus designed to support and nourish participants before, during, and after their journeys.

ETÉREO Baja's central ceremonial medicine is iboga, a sacred root bark central to the Bwiti tradition of Gabon. While its chemical derivative, ibogaine, is increasingly being recognized in Western medicine for its use in addiction and trauma recovery, ETÉREO Baja returns to the whole plant, honoring its ceremonial context and lineage-based use. ETÉREO Baja also offers experiences with huachuma (San Pedro cactus) and 5-MeO-DMT, both naturally occurring psychedelic compounds with a long history of ceremonial use.

“Ibogaine is to iboga what THC is to cannabis,” says co-founder Fletcher Burdick, whose experience working within ibogaine clinics led him toward a more holistic, whole-plant approach. “Ibogaine isolates one compound; iboga carries the full intelligence of the plant and the culture that has sustained it. ETÉREO Baja brings both worlds together, medical-grade safety and sacred tradition."

Stone West, a foundation dedicated to reciprocity and cultural preservation, will fund scholarships for underserved individuals, support Indigenous-led projects such as iboga replanting and infrastructure development, and develop cross-cultural education programs to safeguard ancestral knowledge.

ETÉREO Baja is now raising seed funding to support the ongoing expansion of its regenerative healing center, research collaborations, and hospitality infrastructure. The project's hybrid model positions ETÉREO as a pioneer in ethical psychedelic hospitality and as an opportunity for conscious investors who want to make a difference.

ETÉREO Baja operates exclusively in Baja California Sur, Mexico, where iboga, huachuma (San Pedro cactus), and 5-MeO-DMT remain unregulated and legally available for ceremonial use. While recent U.S. developments—including Texas's landmark $50 million state-funded ibogaine research program and Colorado's consideration of regulated ibogaine access through its Natural Medicine Program—signal growing policy interest in these compounds for therapeutic applications, all services described in this release are provided solely in Mexico and are not available in the United States. ETÉREO Baja does not make claims regarding U.S. legality, FDA approval, or domestic availability of these substances or services.

THE UNVEILING — NOVEMBER 2, 2025

ETÉREO Baja and Stone West will debut at The Unveiling, an immersive evening under the Baja desert sky featuring Chef Paul Barbosa's curated cuisine, live performances, and site installations. The invitation-only event will gather investors, philanthropists, and media to celebrate the intersection of healing, art, and ethical enterprise. To request an invitation, RSVP here.
